Career fairs and events

VCU hosts career fairs during the fall and spring semesters. Each fair offers students and alumni the opportunity to network with employers from a wide range of industries. More information about career fairs and participating employers can be found on Handshake.

Although professional dress is not required to attend these events, it is recommended to support your best first impression with employers.

Register for any of our career fairs through Handshake. If you would like to discuss networking during a career fair, update your career materials, or update your professional wardrobe before attending a career fair, you can make a career advising or Suit Yourself Closet appointment through Handshake.

Do you want to participate in an internship but have found out it is unpaid or doesn't pay enough to cover your summer expenses?

Apply for funding through the VCU Internship Funding Program! Applications are open through April 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Funding will be awarded as a direct deposit and can be used to supplement costs for travel to your internship, housing costs, childcare, professional attire, supplies, and more!
